Who we are
We’re a small, registered charity based in South Wiltshire. We aim to reduce loneliness and isolation by supporting older people to be active in their local community. We have 5 volunteer founding trustees who all live locally. Our Chair, Irene Kohler is Salisbury’s Older People’s Champion.
What we do
We promote local groups and activities where older people will get a warm welcome in Salisbury, Amesbury, Downton and Wilton and the surrounding areas. Research shows that overcoming isolation improves health and wellbeing, leaving older people feeling better and reducing the demand for health and social care services.

Volunteer Roles Available
We are looking for local people in Amesbury, Downton, Salisbury and Wilton who would like to volunteer to help support older people in their community.
Every year around Silver Sunday a programme of events and activities has been delivered in Salisbury. Due to its growing success, we now need help to expand the program to the areas above.
If you have some time and would like to make a difference to your local community this may be the role for you.
